We believe that education, in its many forms, is the key to a successful future for our children and for the future of Nepal. 

The four-fold purpose of the Chelsea Education and Community Center is to provide:

• Substantive vocational training for those students who do not choose to continue in traditional academic settings, so they can prepare for productive careers and lives of contribution and fulfillment in trades and other occupations.
• Access to broader and advanced fields of knowledge beyond traditional schooling for students interested in pursuing advanced degrees.
• A “Life Skills Training” course to equip NOH children and young adults with the interpersonal, time-management, goal-setting, job-ready, and budgeting skills necessary for adulthood.
• A greater sense of community and empowerment among local women in our area through educational classes, workshops, and special programs.
