One of the options for recent workshops for the women at the Chelsea Center was learning to knit. Our own Maya didi facilitated the session. The women who attended were eager to literally "try their hands" at it! Just look at the determination and results!!

The women who attend daily classes at the Chelsea Center were given several options for special "extracurricular" workshops. Anyone for pickling? Many of our women students at the Chelsea Center opted to learn about the process of pickling, led by one of our own students. Everyone is an expert in something!

On 7th January, 2024 a formal farewell program was held honoring our two most tenured teachers, Sushma Chaudhary and Kabita Mahato. It was difficult for so many of us to bid farewell to these two outstanding teachers at the Chelsea Center. They grew up in Papa's House, and were both beloved by their adult students. Best wishes on your new journey! You both will be sorely missed, but may your future endeavors be filled with success and joy!

On January 7th a formal farewell program honoring Sushma and Kabita, two former "Papa's House kids" who have currently been the two teachers with the longest tenure at the Chelsea Center.
